A family being built into a dwelling place.
We are not a venue you attend. We are a house you belong to; imperfect, honest, and utterly convinced that God still meets with people.
It began with a table, not a building.
In 2016, Rev. Philip K. Osei founded Greater House in East Legon, Accra, driven by a hunger for something he could not find elsewhere; not better programmes, but the presence of God. What started small quickly grew as others caught the same fire.
Years later, the chairs have multiplied but the hunger has not changed. We have deliberately resisted becoming a place people watch. Every part of this house; the small groups, the altar, the serving teams; exists to make sure you are known by name and sent out with purpose.
“Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labour in vain.”Psalm 127:1; the verse we started on, and have never left.

Touching nations and generations with the power of God.
We exist to carry God’s presence into every nation and generation; bringing people to Jesus, building them into family, and sending them out to transform their world.
- Raising champions for global and generational impact.
- Preparing people for the second coming of Christ.
- A nation shaped by sons and daughters.
We are raising champions for global and generational impact, preparing people for the second coming of Christ, and believing for a generation whose integrity, excellence and compassion reshape homes, businesses and communities across Ghana and beyond.
Presence
We build everything around the nearness of God. Programmes change; His presence is the constant.
The Word
Scripture is our foundation and our final authority. We teach it plainly and live it honestly.
Family
Nobody walks alone here. We grow in circles before we gather in rows.
Sending
The house exists for the nation. We equip people to serve where they already are.
Seventeen years, one direction
- 20162016
The house is founded
Rev. Philip K. Osei founds Greater House in East Legon, Accra, with a conviction to build a house for God's presence.

The fellowship moves into a rented hall in East Legon and holds its first Sunday service with 140 people.
- 20222022
House fellowships begin
Growth pushes us back to small rooms. Twelve house fellowships launch across Accra; today there are forty-eight.
- 20242024
Branches beyond Ghana
The house expands to the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada; one family across four nations.
- TodayToday
A house, still growing
Over five hundred members, four weekly gatherings, and the same conviction we started with.
Historic Christian faith, plainly held
We hold these convictions with conviction; and hold one another with grace.
The Scriptures
We believe the Bible is the inspired, infallible word of God; our final authority for faith, doctrine and daily living.
One God, Three Persons
We believe in one God eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Salvation by Grace
We believe salvation is the gift of God, received by grace through faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells, empowers and gifts every believer for a life of witness and service.
The Church
We believe the Church is the body of Christ; a family, not a venue; called to worship, disciple, serve and send.
The Return of Christ
We believe in the bodily return of Jesus Christ, the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come.
The people who carry this house
Shepherds before they are speakers. You will find them in the aisles long after the service ends.
